Hello Nina,

Have I  ever mentioned how much I *hate* writing about myself? Surpassed only by my  reluctance to writing about my photos. I try to write a line, it turns into a  paragraph, then into a long succesion of unintelligible remarks that really  aren't what I'm trying to say anyway <sigh>.

I suppose I could  stick to just the facts, but I can't imagine that being very entertaining. How  about this...

Kevin Roberts lives (and  lets live!) in Melbourne, FL where he continues to alarm local authorities and  unenlightened individuals of all ilk that think the human body (and no doubt  much else besides) is sinful by flouting local nudity laws for his love of art  and the human form.

Living in an area where wearing a thong bikini at the  beach is a crime tests even this intrepid photographers skills (not to mention  understanding) but Roberts perseveres in his never ending search for truth,  beauty, and cool photos.

Aside from erotica, Roberts enjoys photographing  almost anything that won't run away faster than he can compose the shot (some  two year olds excepted) and prefers to work with available light and models that  are his friends or clients raher than professionals.

Ummm... will that translate ok to German?  If you like I can attempt something a little more serious. Please let me  know.

Warm Regards,
Kevin

playground erotik Part II

Hello  again Nina! Sorry for the delay here. OK, here are the missing pieces of my  bio.

Before becoming a photographer Roberts was born in '57 in  Springfield, Virginia and has lived throughout the southeastern United States.  Following the trails and tribulations of his youth (sustained only by the  unfailing love of his family... really!) he attended a number of colleges where,  after accumulating a record number of undergraduate credits in everything from  theatre arts & dance to computer science, math & physics (without  obtaining a degree in any) Roberts finally said 'The heck with this!' and went  off in search of some sort of carreer. Finally in '88 or so, in a flash of  inspiration, he bought a camera. Having learned the futility of formal education  he set out to teach himself photography - reading everything he could find,  studying other photographers work, and taking multitudes of bad photos of  family, friends, and (especially) his girl friend at the time Teri. The results  were... well, what you see here.

Breaking free of corporate restraints,  he's never looked back... except occasionally when he's really broke and misses  the corporate benefits of a paycheck, health insurance, and a retirement plan.
